Touring & Camping
Our quiet, family friendly touring & camping site is tucked away in the beautiful Dorset countryside, close to the world famous Jurassic Coast. Lovely spacious pitches are situated in a large open field where you can watch the children play while you sit and relax.
Deserved more than 5 stars! The place and then people are absolutely amazing. We come back here every year. The owners and stuff extremely kind, helpful and polite. Every year the site gets better. The facilities are always clean, with a nice and spacious family bathroom.
Great park. Off the beaten track and very peaceful. Perfect get away for families wanting to unwind.

I would definitely recommend the Dorset hideaway Very friendly campsite very peaceful. Lots to do in the area weather you are young or old.
We had a wonderful stay, really is a little hideaway. Lovely staff, excellent facilities. We stayed as a couple but itโs a wonderful family site we highly recommend to all whom want quality couple or family time to just relax.
Our family travelled to Dorset to visit the Jurassic Coast and wanted a campsite that could offer simplicity. The Hideaway gave us that and more. The views are amazing and the night sky is spectacular! A really beautiful campsite which is well maintained and clean.

Had 2 weeks here. well what can I say other than im in love. the views are lovely the sunsets are amazing. staff were lovely and always busy doing something, pitch sizes were massive. cant wait to go back.
We had a great weekend here and want to go again! This site is everything that camping should be – relaxed, peaceful and friendly. The children got to play in the field until way past dark, making their own fun and new friends.

For all High & Peak season bookings there is a minimum 3 night stay policy.
Weโre only 3 miles from the main road but you do need to plan your journey well before you visit. Our beautiful rural location means there are some narrow country lanes and some routes are hilly which are best avoided if youโre towing a caravan.
Our large gated entrance is easy to spot with โThe Dorset Hideawayโ signs on both sides โ you canโt miss us!
