With beautiful countryside views and a private hot tub, the decking area is perfect for alfresco cooking, dining and relaxing. Inside, the Yurts are comfortably furnished with a large central skylight, so you can fall asleep under the stars in your king sized bed.

To enable us to cater for those with allergies, we’re unable to accept bookings with pets in any of our Glamping accommodation.

Nice camp site. We stayed in a Yurt. Very comfortable and peaceful. Nice facilities (own bathroom) and scenery as you’d expect in this area. Staff were friendly and helpful Well placed to strike out along the coast and surrounding areas

Beaches

The closest beach is Charmouth, then either West Bay or Lyme Regis.

Walking

There are miles and miles of walks direct from site along public footpaths & bridleways.

Trails which are nearby include the Wessex Ridgeway, Monarchs Way, Jubilee Trail, South West Coast Path and Thorncombe Woods.

Many local National Trust properties have some lovely walks too.

Fishing

There are two deep unfenced fishing ponds on site, you will need a Rod Licence and a fishing pass to be able to use them. Rod licences are available from the Post Office and fishing passes can be added as an extra online when booking or bought from reception on site.

Takeaway food is available in the barn on site – Bank holidays and school summer holidays – WEEKEND ONLY

Pubs

Nearest pub is called the Five Bells & is in the local village of Whitchurch.

Shops

Nearest shops are Felicities Farm Shop at Morcombelake (2 miles).
Charmouth (3 miles) has a small supermarket.
Bridport is the closest large town with Morrisons, Lidl, Co-op & Waitrose (none are 24 hours).

We do not accept supermarket deliveries onto site – please contact us to arrange this.

Petrol Stations

The nearest petrol station can be found at Morrisons in Bridport. An alternative can be located on East Road (A35), just off the roundabout.

Public Transport

We are not on any public transport routes.
The nearest bus route is X53 from the A35 at Charmouth or Morcombelake.
The nearest train station is either Axminster or Crewkerne.

We’re only 3 miles from the main road but you do need to plan your journey well before you visit. Our beautiful rural location means there are some narrow country lanes.

Our large gated entrance is easy to spot with ‘The Dorset Hideaway’ signs on both sides – you can’t miss us!
